Overview
Fake Generator is designed to collect as little personal information as reasonably possible. You can use the current generator without creating an account or submitting your name, phone number, or payment information.
This policy explains what is processed when you visit www.fake-generator.com, use a generator, upload an image, download a mockup, or contact us.
Content created in the generator
Message text, contact names, device settings, and other generator inputs are held in the active browser session. Fake Generator does not send this content to an application database.
Uploaded avatar images are read locally by your browser so they can appear in the preview and exported PNG. The current generator does not upload those images to our server. Closing or refreshing the page clears the active editor state unless your browser independently restores the page.
The PNG export is generated in your browser and downloaded directly to your device.
Information processed by hosting infrastructure
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel may process standard technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, request time, browser or device information, requested URL, and error or security logs.
We do not currently use advertising trackers, behavioral analytics, account profiling, or cross-site tracking on Fake Generator.
Cookies and browser storage
Fake Generator does not currently set advertising cookies. The interface may use essential browser storage when required to maintain a technical preference or page behavior. Generator message content and uploaded avatars are not intentionally stored for later visits.
Email communication
If you email hello@fake-generator.com, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, name, feedback, or support request. We use it only to respond, maintain the service, or follow up on the request. Do not email sensitive personal information or confidential message content.
External links
The site may link to third-party services, including Wayne's profile on X. Those services operate under their own privacy policies. Fake Generator does not control how third-party sites collect or use information after you leave this website.
Data retention and deletion requests
Because generator content is not stored in a Fake Generator account or application database, we generally cannot retrieve or delete content entered into the editor after the browser session ends.
Support emails and operational records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer a request, maintain security, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of an email conversation by contacting us.
Children's privacy
Fake Generator is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect account information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information by email can contact us to request its removal.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the product, hosting setup, or legal requirements change. The current effective date is shown at the top of the page.
