Modern iPhone message layouts
Design an iOS 26 message screen with visual hierarchy.
The iOS 26 layout works best when the floating header, compact metadata, and conversation rhythm stay restrained enough for the messages to remain the focus.
Use the iOS 26 layout
Choose this mode when your concept needs a newer, more layered iPhone presentation than the classic iMessage screen. The layout uses a floating visual treatment and works especially well for delivery updates, verification flows, support conversations, and modern product demos.
Balance the floating header
Keep the contact or phone number concise. Long labels compete with the translucent controls and can make the top of the screen feel crowded. Device time and status details should remain secondary to the conversation.
The avatar color and contact label should be easy to distinguish from the green and neutral message bubbles. When in doubt, use a simple initial and a short service name.
Write believable service messages
Transactional messages should be direct. Put the action first, then supporting details such as an order number, delivery window, or next step.
- Use one update per bubble.
- Keep links short and visually plausible.
- Avoid mixing promotional language into a support or delivery thread.
Check small-screen readability
Preview the result at mobile width before exporting. A desktop editor can hide problems such as a header label wrapping, a long tracking link creating a narrow bubble, or several short messages producing awkward empty space.
Common questions
Is this an official Apple template?
No. It is an independent visual mockup tool inspired by familiar mobile-message patterns and is not affiliated with Apple.
When should I use the classic iPhone mode instead?
Use the classic mode when you want a more familiar iMessage screenshot. Use iOS 26 when the floating header and newer visual treatment are important to the concept.
